We could export a high resolution version --- that is not a big deal. I am not sure what you mean by "strict displacement adds". We plan to allow export to other 3d formats.

It's a nice program, but the fact remains: I could create the same thing with a couple photoshop edits and transfer to C4D (or your fav 3D-package.) If it does this instantly, it still suffers from a lot of issues. Something tells me you have to define the Z plane. STILL a great piece of software, but considering the minimal amount of editing a 3D artist would use it's kind of pointless (without strict displacement adds, VERY high texture resolution, etc.) I'm very sure this research will eventually lead to Ultra-Realistic VR, but at the moment it's just a nice program. (I WILL add that the fact that the mesh is so basic is paramount to loading time, and, again, that later on, anylising an image and translating it into (more detailed) 3-D will be a great help to filmmakers and gamemakers alike.)
